About BetAfrSee

Built by bettors, for bettors. We provide transparent, data-driven betting education so you can make smarter decisions with your money.

Our Story

BetAfrSee started the way most good ideas do — out of frustration.

Back in 2024, a few of us were scattered across Lagos and Douala, all doing the same thing: scrolling through betting apps late at night, losing money we shouldn't have been staking, and wondering why nobody on the internet was giving African bettors straight answers. Every guide we found was written for a UK or European audience. Different bookmakers. Different payment methods. Different regulations. Different everything.

The "tips" floating around on Telegram and WhatsApp? Most were either recycled from dodgy paid prediction sites or outright scams. We'd seen friends lose serious money chasing "guaranteed VIP tips" that turned out to be random picks with a flashy logo.

So we decided to build the resource we wished we'd had when we started. No recycled tips. No fake screenshots of winning slips. No "VIP channels" asking for your money. Just honest information about how betting actually works on the African continent — the real platforms, the real deposit methods, the real odds, and the real risks.

That's how BetAfrSee was born.

Our Mission

We exist for one reason: to give bettors in Nigeria and across Francophone Africa the information they need to make their own informed decisions.

We are not a bookmaker. We do not accept bets. We do not sell predictions. We do not run a "VIP group." We are an independent informational resource that covers sports betting, correct score prediction strategies, Aviator and crash games, football predictions methodology, and how to use bookmaker platforms effectively.

Our content is available in English and French because Africa's betting market doesn't stop at language borders. A punter in Douala deserves the same quality information as someone in Lagos.

What drives us

The African sports betting market is one of the fastest-growing in the world. With that growth comes a flood of misinformation, scam prediction services, and unlicensed operators. We believe education is the best protection. The more you understand about odds, probability, and bankroll management, the harder it is for anyone to take advantage of you.

Our Approach

We don't write reviews from press releases. We test bookmakers ourselves.

When we review a platform, we open a real account. We make a real deposit with our own money. We place actual bets across different markets — football, Aviator, virtual sports. Then we request a withdrawal and clock how long it actually takes to hit our bank account or OPay wallet. If a bookmaker's app crashes every third time you open it, we'll tell you. If their customer support takes four days to respond, we'll tell you that too.

Every prediction methodology we discuss comes with a clear explanation of the underlying logic, historical success rates where data is available, and an honest assessment of the risks involved. We believe you deserve to understand why a strategy exists, not just be handed picks to follow blindly.

Our content process:

  • Research: We gather data from licensed bookmakers, regulatory bodies, and publicly available match statistics.
  • Test: We verify claims through real-world usage — real deposits, real bets, real withdrawals.
  • Write: We produce clear, jargon-free guides that respect your intelligence without assuming you have a finance degree.
  • Update: Betting markets change fast. We revisit and refresh our content regularly to keep it accurate.

The Team

BetAfrSee is run by a small, focused team of sports analysts and developers based in Lagos, Nigeria and Douala, Cameroon.

Our team brings together experience in sports data analysis, web development, and firsthand knowledge of the African betting landscape. Some of us have been betting for years. Some of us built the technology. All of us care about getting this right.

We deliberately stay small. A smaller team means every piece of content gets proper attention, every bookmaker review involves real testing, and every guide reflects genuine experience rather than outsourced copy-paste work.

We're bilingual by design. Our English content focuses primarily on the Nigerian market, while our French content serves bettors in Cameroon, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, and the broader Francophone African region.

Editorial Independence

BetAfrSee earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with licensed bookmakers. When you click certain links on our site and sign up, we may receive a commission. This is standard practice for betting information sites and is how we keep the lights on without charging you for access.

However, affiliate relationships never influence our editorial content. If a bookmaker pays us a commission but has a terrible mobile app or slow withdrawals, we will say so. Our credibility depends on giving you honest information, and that matters more to us than any single affiliate payout.

Every bookmaker we feature holds a valid licence from a recognised regulatory authority. We do not promote unlicensed or offshore-only operators.
